TACOMA, Wash. — Cal Poly's best score of the tournament, a four-person 295, vaulted the Mustangs into a tie for 12th place after the final round of the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational on Tuesday at the Tacoma Country Club.

It was Gillaspy's second round of 70 in her Mustang career. The other was at the Wyoming Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate in Palm Desert, Calif., on Sept. 26, 2015. Her round Tuesday included three birdies and one bogey along with 14 pars.
Gillaspy's score counted for Cal Poly's third-round total but she finished 89th overall as she withdrew from Monday's second round. Jamie Binns and Sadie Strain carded final-round 74s while Sophie Bergland checked in with a 77.
Bergland finished in 39th place with her 16-over-par 232 aggregate while Binns was 46th, Strain 59th and Mallory Muehlbauer, who shot 79 Tuesday, finished 75th.
