Prior to his time at Whitman, Arras joined the Mustang women’s basketball staff before the 2016-17 season as operations intern.
Arras graduated in Communication from Washington State (where he was also a student manager for the men’s basketball program) in 2009, and earned a master’s degree in Counseling from Lakeland College in Wisconsin in 2013.
He served as an assistant coach for the Lakeland College women’s basketball team for five years, in addition to being the Muskies’ head women’s golf coach for three seasons.
Originally from Entiat, Wash., Arras coached girls and boys basketball at Entiat High School from 2009-11, helping the Tigers go a combined 39-11 with two Class 2B state tournament appearances.
