2018 -- Won the Big West Conference championship for the triple jump on May 12, landing a mark of 41 feet, 7.75 inches at CSUN (achieving the medalist performance on both her initial & fourth attempts) ... established a PR of 41’ 8.5” on April 28 at UC Santa Barbara, dominating the Blue-Green Rivalry Meet (topping the field by 1-foot-7), moving to No. 4 in school history for the event ... ranked No. 34 west of the Mississippi in advancing to the First Round of the NCAA Championships ... also ranked 15th nationally among sophomores for the 2018 season (including No. 7 regionally) ... an additional triple jump win came at the Cal Opener on March 3 (via 37’ 10.75” in Berkeley), alongside second-place finishes at the UCSB Tri-Meet on March 10 (at 37’ 4”) and Titan Challenge March 31 (39’ 7.75”) ... at the NCAA regionals in Sacramento on May 26, came in 34th place (ninth in Flight 2), posting a mark of 41’ 0.25” ... also at the Gauchos’ dual, recorded the second-best long jump performance on the team for the season, 18’ 11.75” ... made the Big West All-Academic Team, in addition to earning Conference Commissioner’s Highest Honors, as well as selection for USTFCCCA Scholar-Athlete recognition.

2017 -- As a freshman, posted the No. 9 triple jump mark in school history — 40 feet, 4 inches — to win the event vs. UCSB on April 29 ... came in fifth place (tops among all freshmen) at the Big West Conference Championships at Cal State Fullerton on May 13, with a performance of 40’ 3.5” ... won the triple at the 35th annual Cal Poly ShareSLO Invitational on March 25, at 39’ 4” ... also at the dual against the Gauchos, contributed to the victorious 4x100-meter relay team (which won in 47.04 seconds) and posted a season-best long jump mark of 18 feet, 6.5 inches.

Prep -- As a senior for Los Osos High School in Rancho Cucamonga, took fifth place at the CIF State Championships in the triple jump with a PR of 38 feet, 6.75 inches ... also won the Baseline League title in the long jump, with a career-best mark of 18’ 0.5” in 2015 ... exceeded 38 feet in the triple jump five times during 2016 for the Grizzlies, including four straight to close out the season ... also was a National Honor Society student.

Personal -- Has a sister (Aminat) who is also a Division I track & field student-athlete at Columbia ... chose Cal Poly because of the “challenging academics and multitude of opportunities” ... majors in Political Science (concentrating in Global Politics), with a minor in French; aspires to work for the UN.
