Cal Poly Women's Track & Field Opens Indoor Season at Washington

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — The Cal Poly women's track & field squad will open the 2018 indoor season on Friday and Saturday, competing at the Washington Invitational in Seattle.

Friday's (tentative) schedule inside the Huskies' Dempsey Indoor Stadium goes from 1 to 8 p.m. altogether, with Saturday going from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. overall.

Collegiate programs from throughout the western region will be in attendance, along with club organizations and individual pros. FloTrack will televise the meet live for subscribers, beginning at 1 p.m. on Day 1.

The Mustangs' planned schedule is outlined below (followed by overall PRs), with event start times subject to change:

The Mustangs will return to the Pacific Northwest for the Husky Classic (hosted at the same site) on Feb. 9-10. Qualifiers (typically by ranking in the top 16 nationally) advance to the NCAA Indoor Championships, at Texas A&M from March 9-10.

Cal Poly commences the outdoor season at the Cal Opener in Berkeley on March 3.
