2016 -- Competed in four separate events at the Big West Championships at Long Beach State from May 13-14 ... was 14th at the conference finals in the javelin (with a throw of 112 feet, 7 inches), 18th in the 200 meters (24.95 seconds) and 20th in the 100-meter dash (12.30) before also contributing to the Mustangs’ 4x100m relay squad (sixth at 46.55) ... her season-best javelin mark, 118’ 1”, earned third place at the Big West Double Dual at UC Riverside (where she also won the 200 in 25.21) on March 12 ... also helped Cal Poly win the 400m relay in 47.13 at the 34th annual ShareSLO Invitational on March 26 (along with a season-best wind-aided 100 time of 12.14) ... won both sprints at the Blue-Green Rivalry dual meet against UC Santa Barbara on April 30, taking the 100 in 12.35 seconds and the 200 in 25.23 ... during the indoor season, clocked a best 60-meter time of 7.97 seconds at the Husky Classic in Seattle on Feb. 13.
Santa Barbara City College -- Posted the school’s third-fastest 100-meter dash time ever (12.32 seconds) and the sixth-best 200 performance (25.41) ... also turned in the Vaqueros’ No. 4 javelin throw all-time — 127 feet, 8 inches — on the way to a regional title and an All-America honor in the event.
Prep -- At Dos Pueblos High School in Goleta, anchored a program record-setting 400 relay squad and served as the sprints captain ... also played basketball for the Chargers, starting all four years at point guard (earning All-Southern Section Division 2 First Team accolades as a senior), and participated in tennis in 2010 ... was ASB President and belonged to the National Honor Society and California Scholarship Federation.
Personal -- Born on July 14, 1994 in Santa Barbara ... daughter of Amador and Frances; has a sister, Melissa ... majors in communication studies ... also visited UCSB, but chose Cal Poly because it was “always (her) dream school” ... aspires to become a broadcaster.
