2014-15 -- Closed standout freshman season by meeting the national B standard in qualifying for the NCAA Championships in the 200-yard breaststroke, clocking a third-place time of 2 minutes, 15.99 seconds (No. 2 in school history) at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships on Feb. 21 in Monterey Park ... earlier in the season, earned 200 breast wins on four separate occasions: Nov. 1 at UC Santa Barbara (at 2:19.59); Nov. 8 in the 161-120 home win over Pepperdine (2:20.91); Jan. 17 in the 174-99 sweep of UC Santa Cruz (2:20.32); and Jan. 31, a 152-135 win in the Blue-Green Rivalry rematch over the Gauchos in Anderson Aquatic Center (2:19.88) ... the meet against the Waves also saw her win the 100 breast (at 1:06.10) and 400 individual medley (4:36.96); she lowered both times while again winning the same events vs. the Banana Slugs (1:05.94 & 4:32.81), as well ... also at the conference finals meet, was the consolation runner-up in the 100 breast (at 1:04.50) on Feb. 20.
Prep -- As a sophomore at Inglemoor High School in Kenmore, won a Washington state championship in the 100 breast, at a school-record 1:04.31 ... a team captain for the Vikings, Speak also competed at the NCSA Junior National Championships, where she swam a 2:22.31 in the 200.
