As a freshman, had the Mustangs' fourth-fastest 50-yard free time, 21.73 seconds ... also swam a 47.42 in the 100 free, as well as a 53.62 in the 100 back.

Prep -- As a senior at Santiago High School in Corona, won the Big 8 League title in the 100 back, at 53.30 seconds … as a junior for the Sharks, finished 11th in the 100 back and 13th in the 500 free at the Southern Section Division 1 finals … was part of relay teams that set school records in the 200 medley and 400 free … was named team's most improved swimmer as a freshman … also played water polo … graduated with high honors.
