LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Cal Poly sophomore Elliott Adams reached the final round and placed 10th in men's platform diving on the final day of competition in the Bruins Diving Invitational held at UCLA's Spieker Aquatics Center on Sunday.
Adams scored 212.35 for six dives in the preliminaries, qualifying 12th, en route to a 12-dive total of 417.50 points and a 10th-place finish.
On the women's side, Mustang junior Sami McIntyre earned 140.75 points for five dives and finished 35th in the preliminary round. The top 12 divers advanced to the final round.
Cal Poly will host UC San Diego for a non-conference dual meet on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 11 a.m.
