A native of San Mateo, Calif., a Hillsdale HS graduate and a recreation, parks and tourism administration major, Tyler has started 180 straight games for the Mustangs. A .273 career hitter, Tyler ranks 11th all-time at Cal Poly with 58 walks.
Cal Poly's leader this season with 16 walks and ranked second in the lineup with 20 RBI, Tyler has struck out just seven times in 162 plate appearances.
A member of the 2014 Big West Conference All-Freshman Team, Tyler batted a career best .310 as a sophomore in 2015.
Tyler will play her final home games at Bob Janssen Field as Cal Poly closes its home schedule with a three-game, May 5-6 series versus Hawai'i. The series begins with a 6 p.m. matchup on Friday, May 5.
