STOCKTON, Calif. — Senior Josh Ortlip won his fourth straight singles match to also go along with a win in doubles as the Cal Poly men's tennis team took down Pacific (4-15, 1-5 WCC) on the road 4-1 Sunday to cap off a 2-0 weekend in northern California.

The Mustangs (11-7, 2-0 BWC) picked up their second straight win after they beat UC Davis on Saturday.

Cal Poly started off by winning the doubles point after a victory at No. 3 doubles by sophomores Roman Shenkiryk and Andrew Whitehouse followed by a win at the No. 1 spot by Ortlip and senior Dominic Bechard. The win by Bechard and Ortlip is their third straight and improves their record to 5-4 as a duo.

Bechard (pictured) followed suit soon after with a 6-4, 6-4 victory at the No. 5 position to put the Mustangs up 3-0. He improves his record to 6-8 in dual matches this season.

The match was later clinched by junior Antoine Noel after he picked up his third straight win with a 1-6, 6-2, 7-6 (2) win at the No. 2 spot. He now sports a 10-3 record in dual matches this season.
