Modglin compiled some impressive statistics at Cal Poly, including a .476 batting average as a senior in 2007 with 16 home runs, 44 RBI and 56 runs scored en route to NFCA  and Easton All-American first-team honors.

She was 2007 Big West Field Player of the Year and twice earned first-team All-Big West honors as well as one second-team award. In addition, she was first-team All-NFCA West Region in 2007 and second-team all-West Region in 2006.

Cal Poly’s Female Athlete of the Year in 2007, she continues to hold school records for career batting average (.369), hits (236), runs (152), steals (41), doubles (43), triples (17), total bases (379) and slugging percentage. She also is in the top 10 in numerous single-season categories at Cal Poly, including No. 1 in batting average (.476), hits (81), runs (56), home runs (16), total bases (157), slugging percentage (.593) and steals (18).

Modglin played softball professionally, playing two years for the New England Riptide (2007-08) and four more with the Akron Racers (2009-12) in the National Professional Fastpitch League (NPF).

She was a senior accountant for Caliber Accounting & Tax for five years and currently works as a tax manager for Watson & Associates, CPA’s in Boulder, Colorado.
