Tom Gallo was a standout linebacker on the Cal Poly football team from 1982-86. During his collegiate career, Tom was a team captain and was named most valuable player.
As a junior, he had 38 tackles and two fumble recoveries. As a senior, he led the team with 79 tackles; one interception and one fumble recovery and was instrumental in leading the Mustangs to wins over Sacramento State and Portland State. Cal Poly held both opponents to a combined 13 points in those two Mustang wins. As a senior, he earned Western Football Conference Player of the Week honors and was a WFC All-Conference selection.
He has continued to remain involved with the school through his involvement on various committees on campus and his continued interest in arts and athletics. Currently, he is owner of Grand Street Litho in Modesto, California where he resides with his family. He recently opened a restaurant called Galletto's in Modesto.
