Ashley Offermann, who has worked in real estate development and the acquisition of distressed debt, joined the Cal Poly Athletics staff as the Associate Athletic Director for Development in July 2012.
Over the past five years, over $33 million has been raised for Cal Poly Athletics under Offermann's leadership. Improvements to physical facilities on campus include Baggett Stadium Enhancement Project and The Dignity Health Baseball Clubhouse, Doerr Family Practice Field, Mott Athletics Center renovation, enhanced tennis facilities, and a softball covered batting cage. Athletics has also added in excess of 20 new athletic scholarships and continued increase in private support for individuals sport operations through philanthropy.
From 2009 to 2012, Offermann served as vice-president of Star Ventures, LLC, in Scottsdale, Ariz. Star Ventures, LLC, is a private investment, asset management and advisory firm.
From 2004-09, Offermann was vice-president and chief financial officer for Star Resorts, also in Scottsdale. Star Resorts is the leading developer, consultant, marketer and seller of resort real estate throughout North America.
Offermann also was a senior consultant for Pennington and Company in Lawrence, Kansas, from 2001-04. He was a chapter consultant for The Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity in Memphis, Tenn., from 2000-01.
Offermann is a 2000 graduate of the University of Utah, earning a bachelor’s degree in finance. He was student body president, president of the InterFraternity Council and member of Pi Kappa Alpha.
Offermann resides in San Luis Obispo.
