Former Cal Poly Outside Hitter Chelsea Hardin Crowned Miss Hawai’i USA November 23, 2015 Miss East Oahu and 2013 Cal Poly graduate Chelsea Hardin was crowned the new Miss Hawai'i USA on Sunday evening at the Hawai'i Convention Center. UC Davis Outduels Cal Poly In Five-Set Marathon November 7, 2015 SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Freshman outside hitter Adlee Van Winden sent home a career-high tying 22 kills (for the second consecutive match) and sophomore Taylor Nelson recorded 52 assists as Cal Poly volleyball fell to UC Davis in five sets (25-19, 19-25, 25-17, 21-25, 13-15) on Saturday afternoon in Mott Athletics Center. Cal Poly slipped to 17-6 overall and 9-3 in conference, while the Aggies improved to 13-14 overall and 8-5 in Big West action.
