Mustangs Open Home Season, Saturday

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.—The Cal Poly men's tennis team will open its home season on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 2 pm when the 51st-ranked team will host the University of San Francisco on the Mustang Courts.

Cal Poly enters the match 3-3 after defeating No. 49 BYU, No. 56 Arizona and Grand Canyon University.

The Mustangs are led by 22nd-ranked Andre Dome. The junior is fresh off earning the Big West Conference Player of the Week in leading the Mustangs to a pair of wins this past week over Arizona and Grand Canyon.

Cal Poly defeated both schools in dominate fashion, winning 6-1 in both matches.

Dome enters the dual match 3-1 on the No. 1 court while Brian McPhee is 2-3 on the second court.

Junior Jordan Bridge has excelled on the fourth court, posting a 4-1 record with Jurgen De Jager 2-1 on the fifth and Sebastian Bell 3-1 on the sixth.  

Following the match with USF, Cal Poly will remain at home and host UNLV on Feb. 24 at 11 am.
