After playing one season (2010) at Mike linebacker, moved to the offensive backfield in 2011 and started all 12 games in 2012 at slotback ... will be backed up by Kenny Mitchell at the S-back position this fall and serve as a team captain.

2012 -- As a junior, provided a major threat both carrying and catching the ball as a slotback ... rushed for 241 yards on 38 carries (6.3 yards per carry) and caught 17 passes for 486 yards (28.6 yards per catch) and four scores ... broke off a 65-yard run against North Dakota en route to 90 yards on just five carries ... season-high three catches in a trio of games, including a pair of 51-yard receptions in Northern Arizona contest ... touchdown catches were against Northern Arizona, North Dakota, Portland State and Idaho State ... earned All-Big Sky Conference honorable mention praise ... did not play in 2013 Spring Game.

2011 -- Played in all 11 games as a sophomore, primarily on special teams where he made 14 tackles (eight solo) ... career-high four tackles against Montana and three more against both Southern Utah and South Dakota ... on offense carried the ball twice and caught one pass for 51 yards against South Alabama ... rushes were for four yards against UC Davis and 16 yards against South Alabama ... two carries for one yard and made a 17-yard catch that led to a field goal in 2012 Spring Game.

High School – A wide receiver and safety under head coach Dave Humphers at Nevada Union High School in Grass Valley ... earned Delta Valley Conference Player of the Year honors as a safety and was selected to play in the KRCA Holiday Classic ... also was named to the Sacramento Bee All-Metro first team and also was a Sacramento Chapter of the National Football Foundation's All-Sac-Joaquin Section first-team safety ... caught 29 passes for 474 yards and three touchdowns, including six catches against Laguna Creek, and recorded 84 total tackles (33 solo), including 15 against Elk Grove ... had three other games with 10 or more tackles as well .... returned three punts for touchdowns in a single game against Franklin of Stockton, averaged 25.1 yards per punt return for the season and also returned nine kickoffs an average of 33.8 yards ... also intercepted four passes and notched four pass breakups to lead Miners to 10-2 overall record and 4-1 mark for a first-place tie in the Delta Valley Conference ...
