After starting in three different positions -- first base, right field and designated hitter -- as both a freshman in 2011 and as a sophomore in 2012, was slowed by injuries in 2013 and played just 29 games ... is slated to be Cal Poly's starting first baseman as a senior in 2014 and also could back up the outfielders.

2013: Made 20 starts, primarily at first base, and appeared in nine other games as a junior ... hit .187 with three doubles and a triple, knocking in eight runs ... just three errors in 121 chances for .975 fielding percentage ... three of his four extra-base hits were in first game of Kansas State doubleheader March 8 when he drove in three runs with two doubles and a triple ... other double was against Pepperdine on March 26 ... went 4-for-12 in Kansas State series ... played summer ball for Eau Claire Express in Northwoods League, hitting .323 with six doubles, one triple, three home runs, 24 RBI and four steals ... elevated average 112 points in final four weeks of season, thanks in part to 11-game hitting streak in which he went 28-for-50 (.560) with two home runs and 14 RBI ... streak included 10 multi-hit games.

2012: A .308 hitter as a sophomore with 46 starts and appearances in seven other games en route to first-team All-Big West Conference honors … finished strong with hits in 21 of his last 23 games, lifing average 49 points in last seven weeks by going 34-for-97 (.351) … 16 starts at first base, four in left field and 26 as designated hitter … drove in 28 runs and produced 10 doubles, one triple and three home runs, all after collecting 25 hits, all singles, in first two months of season ... hit two-run single with bases loaded in win over San Francisco on March 4 ... 10 two-hit games and quartet of three-hit games, including back-to-back three-hit games in UC Davis series, going 7-for-15 ... 5-for-14 in Cal State Fullerton series and 6-for-14 in UC Riverside series ... homers included a three-run shot against Pacific, two-run blast at UC Davis and solo shot vs. CSU Bakersfield ... 11-for-15 in stolen bases … finished season with seven-game hitting streak as well as reaching base safely in 32 consecutive contests … hit .356 in Big West games, .344 on the road and .368 in night games … did not play summer ball.
