2013: Earned first-team All-Big West Conference honors for the second straight year after compiling school-record-tying 14 saves as a sophomore ... drafted in 18th round by the Baltimore Orioles last June, but elected to return to Cal Poly for his junior season ... earned six saves in first four weeks of season ... 2-4 record and 2.29 ERA ... picked up wins against San Jose State (two scoreless innings) and UC Davis (5.2 innings, one run, six hits) ... pitched three or more innings six times ... struck out career-high seven in three innings for save in season opener at San Francisco ... 69 strikeouts in 59 innings with just 20 walks ... appeared in team-leading 32 games, all in relief ... combined with Joey Wagman on a 7-0 shutout against UC Santa Barbara on March 22 ... did not allow an earned run in first seven appearances of season (11 1/3 innings) ... 2012: Cal Poly's most consistent relief pitcher as a redshirt freshman with a 5-2 record, 2.80 ERA and one save en route to first-team All-Big West Conference honors … also named to Collegiate Baseball newspaper's freshman All-American team … team-leading 25 relief appearances … combined on a shutout with Joey Wagman in 6-0 victory over UC Irvine on April 5 … earned save against Pacific on April 29, allowing a run and two hits in two innings … career-high four strikeouts three times … 45 total strikeouts in 54.2 innings … tossed four scoreless innings in relief with just one hit for win against Cal State Fullerton and three scoreless frames with career-high four strikeouts for win against Pepperdine ... allowed one run and three hits in 4 2/3 innings for win against Wisconsin-Milwaukee ... pitched 5 1/3 scoreless innings in two appearances against Long Beach State and 3.0 scoreless innings in two stints against UC Irvine ... four strikeouts in three-inning stint against San Diego State on March 23 and another four K’s in four innings against Cal State Northridge on April 15 ... allowed just six earned runs in last 16 appearances of season (1.47 ERA) … 2-0 with 0.96 ERA in night games … earned Jim Newkirk Fireman's Award as team's top relief pitcher … pitched briefly for Waterloo in summer ball, with no record and 16.20 ERA … five walks and six strikeouts over five innings.

2011: Redshirt … played summer ball for Kitsap BlueJackets in West Coast Collegiate Baseball League … named one of the top performers for the 2011 summer league season by CollegeSummerBaseball.net … one of the top relievers in the league with a 1-2 record and 1.75 ERA in 36 innings … finished tied for second in the league in appearances with 25 … walked 12 batters and struck out 31 … never pitched in more than two innings in his first 24 appearances, but in last mound stint of the summer Aug. 10, pitched a nine-inning complete game as Kitsap defeated Klamath Falls 7-2 ... struck out eight and did not walk a batter, allowing two runs and eight hits for the win.

High School: A four-year letter winner as a pitcher and shortstop under head coach Brett Kay at JSerra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano ... compiled 5-2 win-loss record and 2.28 ERA in senior season with 63 strikeouts in 45 innings ... also hit .370 (30 of 81) with 11 doubles, two triples and 16 RBI ... a second-team All-Trinity League selection and played on South Team in Orange County All-Star Game ...
