Jesse Latino joined the Cal Poly Athletics Department in 2008.

In his current role as Director of Facilities and Event Operations he serves as the primary event manager for all home athletic events. He is responsible for hiring, training, and scheduling game management personnel.

In addition, he is responsible for scheduling all the athletic facilities, coordinating with club sports, intramurals, student activities, and other departments across campus. Latino works extensively with Cal Poly’s facility management department to organize the upkeep and maintenance of our athletic facilities.  

Latino arrived at Cal Poly from Iona College, where he served as an Assistant Athletics Director for Operations and Facilities for three years.

Latino is originally from Worcester, MA.  He graduated from Ithaca College in May 2004, where he majored in sport management and was a four-year member of the football team.  Latino earned his master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in management from Iona College in June 2008.
