Chris Baker is in his 12th year in Cal Poly Athletics. 

He began his career back in 1996 as a marketing intern and has held the positions of Director of Marketing, Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing and Promotions and now currently Associate Athletic Director for Advancement. 

In his current role, Chris oversees the day-to-day operations of Athletic Advancement, Stampede Club, Media Relations, Marketing and Promotions, the Ticket Office and Special Events.

A Mission College Prep alumnus in San Luis Obispo, Baker graduated from the College of Business at Cal Poly in 1997 with a bachelor of science degree, concentrating in marketing

Baker and his wife, Bryanna, have one daughter, Carly and reside in San Luis Obispo.
