  • Johnson Earns Numerous Preseason Honors; Mustangs Ranked

    SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- Cal Poly senior wide receiver Dominique Johnson has been placed on the College Football Performance Awards 2010 Football Championship Subdivision Preseason Watch List. Johnson, who transferred to Cal Poly from UCLA in the summer of 2009, caught 43 passes for 741 yards and six touchdowns last season.     SAN LUIS OBISPO – After impressing during a five-match trial stint with Plymouth Argyle Football Club, former Cal Poly men’s soccer midfielder Anton Peterlin has signed a one-year contract with the English League One outfit after passing a medical review on Tuesday.     SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Former Cal Poly golfer Loren Roberts, a two-time Senior British Open winner, settled for a 14th-place tie Sunday at Carnoustie, Scotland.
