After starting 49 games in either left field or right field last spring, will open the 2009 season as the Mustangs’ starting center fielder.

2008: A .357 hitter with 11 doubles, three triples and 21 RBIs as a junior, earning All-Big West honorable mention ... led team with 13 steals in 18 attempts ... was hitting .435 after going 3-for-3 in first game of Washington series, but cooled off slightly ... four-hit games against Cal State Northridge, Cal State Fullerton and UC Riverside ... was in 1-for-17 slump before collecting seven hits in final two games of Cal State Fullerton series ... went 7-for-12 in that series, 5-for-12 in Washington series, 5-for-11 in Cal State Northridge series and was 3-for-4 in game against UC Santa Barbara on March 11 ... started 51 games, 13 in left field, two in center field and 36 in right ... 21 multiple-hit games, including four-hit games against CS Northridge, CS Fullerton and UC Riverside... knocked in three runs against Pepperdine on April 8, going 2-for-4 ... played summer ball for Eau Claire Express and led the Northwoods League in stolen bases (30 of 32) ... hit .259 with five doubles, a triple and 25 RBIs.

2007: A .292 hitter as a sophomore reserve outfielder ... played in 37 games with eight starts ... all seven hits were singles ... 2-for-2 in stolen bases ... RBIs against San Diego State (sacrifice fly) and Washington (single) ... 22 errorless chances in the outfield ... played summer ball for the Kelowna Falcons, finishing with a team-best .303 batting average, 21 runs scored and 47 hits with three doubles, a triple and nine RBIs while stealing league-record 27 of 30 bases ... played in West Coast Collegiate Baseball League All-Star Game ... named second-team All-WCCBL.

2006: Played in 24 games with three starts and hit .273 with a triple and one RBI as a backup outfielder ... 3-for-3 in stolen bases and handled 15 chances without an error ... hit his triple against Dartmouth on March 23, collecting an RBI in a 4-for-5 performance with two stolen bases ... also had pinch-hit singles in the first two games of the UC Davis series ... played for the Kelowna Falcons in the West Coast Collegiate Baseball League, hitting .272 with six doubles and 11 RBIs, stealing 17 of 21 bases.

2005: Redshirt ... played summer ball for Salinas Valley Packers, Los Altos Hawks and Cupertino Lobos.

Prep: A two-year varsity baseball letterman as a left fielder at St. Francis High in Mountain View ... career statistics include a .409 batting average, four home runs and 52 RBIs ... twice earned first-team All-Central Coast Section honors ... led Lancers to pair of West Catholic Athletic League titles and combined 57-7 record ... selected to play in Sunbelt Classic at Norman, OK ... played four games in Cuba in 2003 ... also lettered three times in football as a placekicker, earning first-team All-Central Coast Section honors as a senior ... graduated with high honors ... member of National Honor Society ... member of ski and snowboarding clubs ... also lettered in frosh soccer.
